The year of really good movies, but not perfect nor fully satisfying ones. Many works by filmmakers that matter to us, but only two or three that deserved to be praised. Fans of animated features were very happy, a lot of accomplishments there. I believe, documentaries and independent cinema, also animation, are why 2016 is kind of acceptable.

عام اتسم بكثرة الأفلام الجيدة جدا , لكن دون الوصول إلى درجة الكمال أو الرضا التام. شهدت السنة حضور أسماء كبيرة , لكن اثنان أو ثلاثة منها فقط استحقت أفلامهم الثناء. جمهور الأعمال الرسومية كان سعيدًا , تفوّقها كان أمرًا مُلفتًا. برأيي , الأعمال الوثائقية والمستقلة وكذلك الرسومية هي من حافظت على توازن هذا العام وجعلت من 2016 مقبولًا إلى حدٍ ما.

Before the top 10, I will share with you some of the Memorable Quotes and my Favorite Scenes of this year. Then movies of a less importance or class, and I will divide them to 3 parts: Pure Entertainment & Guilty Pleasures, Definitely Worth Watching and Highly Recommended. The Neon Demon

Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn has proven himself to be gifted when it comes to visual and imagery storytelling. A thing that can hypnotize and draw the viewer uncontrollably, taking him/her to a rabbit hole that can be enjoyed all the way. In The Neon Demon, the experience was overwhelming and got to a point where feeling it was rather more enjoyable than understanding it.

المخرج الدنماركي نيكولاس ويندق ريفن أثبت للجميع موهبته في سرد الأحداث بالصورة , قدرة مبهجة ممتعة في تمكين الأسلوب البصري إلى هذا المستوى. استدراج وجذب للمشاهد لا إراديًا وهو في كامل رغبته وفرحته. في هذا العمل , كانت التجربة طاغية ومهولة حتى أصبح تفاعلك للفيلم أمتع من استيعابك له.

La La Land

First of all, I really don’t enjoy musicals, and the ones I like are so few. Damien Chazelle is going big and going up, this guy will get his name engraved in Hollywood if he doesn’t lose his path. As of La La Land, I never felt so happy and bedazzled about a movie that combines classic touch and nowadays technique. It also combines dreamers and realists in a well-weighted grasp.

لست من عشاق الأفلام الموسيقية ولا أجد أي رغبة في مشاهدتها مهما حصلت من مديح , قلة جدًا منها فقط استطعت الاستمتاع بها. داميان شازيل في طريقه ليكون من أفضل صناع الأفلام في جيله إذا استمر على هذا النحو. لم أشعر بمثل هذه السعادة والسحر أثناء مشاهدة هذا الفيلم , والذي كان أحد أركان نجاحه الجمع بين الأسلوب الكلاسيكي والحديث.

Cameraperson

Personal and so sweet, but it’s also sad. This montage of footage represents a lot of the world, it’s about the filmmaker more but you’ll relate to most of what she felt. Her camera captured moments I will never forget, and each shot and frame speaks to you. I never met or went to those faces and places, but they mean something to me now. This documentary is a personal favorite of mine.

وثائقي ذا طابع شخصي وعذب , لكنه قاسٍ أيضًا. هذا المونتاج الذي يبدو مبعثرًا وعشوائيًا يمثّل جوانب عديدة من هذا العالم , له ارتباطه الخاص بالمخرجة كيرستن جونسون لكن تفاعل المشاهد محتوم مع أغلبه على الأقل. لم ألتقي تلك الوجوه ولم أزُر تلك الأماكن من قبل , لكنها تعني لي شيئًا الآن. أصبح من الأعمال المفضلة لي.

Fire at Sea

This documentary can affect its audience in a bizarrely numb and calm feel. Kind of like what we feel when we hear or watch the news about this topic: We sympathize, we talk, then we go on with our lives. That’s having a “lazy eye” will get us to do. It has artistic value, but more importantly, it has a message that we all need to listen, see, and examine very carefully and wholeheartedly.

تأثير هذا الوثائقي في استشعار الهدوء في متابعيه كان غريبًا , لكنه يشبه كثيرًا حالنا في التعامل مع مآسي اللاجئين في الأخبار أو في التواصل الاجتماعي: نتعاطف معهم , نناقش الأمر , ثم نستمر في حياتنا كأنها لم تحدث. لا يختلف حالنا عن حال المصاب بـ “عين كسولة”. نحن في حاجة قُصوى للحديث أكثر عن هذه القضية الانسانية.

Paterson

“All this will we give you; That is what you gave me. I become the cigarette and you the match; Or I the match and you the cigarette. Blazing with kisses that smolder towards heaven.“ I don’t recall watching such a sweet, mellow, warm-hearted and peaceful movie. I am already planning to read more poetry and hopefully visit Paterson, New Jersey one day.

“ سأكون السيقارة وأنتِ عود الثقاب; أو أنا عود الثقاب وأنتِ السيقارة. قُبَلاتٌ يتصّعد دُخَان لَهبِها إلى السماء. ” لا أعتقد بأني شاهدت عملًا بهذه العذوبة , الهدوء , والدفء. حتى يوميات باترسون الروتينية أصبحت هنا ألطف حياة تعيشها. قررت قراءة المزيد من الشِعر وآمل أن أزور بلدة باترسون يومًا ما.

Aquarius

Age, music and corrupted politicians. This movie is so epic in ways I can’t describe, and mostly thanks to its filmmaker K. M. Filho and its lead actress Sonia Braga – The one thing that’s impossible to hate about this movie. This work of art showed the passage of time through a place and the changes happening around it and to it. I don’t know about Brazilians, but I know I’d be proud of this film.

العمر , الموسيقى , والفساد السياسي. عمل تجلّى بشكل لا أستطيع وصفه , بفضل كتابة وإخراج متمكّنان من كليبر ميندوزا فيليو وبأداء يُستحال استنقاصُه من سونيا براقا. هذه القطعة الفنية استعرضت مرور الزمن وذلك خلال المكان , وجميع التغييرات التي تحدث حوله والتي تحصل له.

The Red Turtle

Dutch animator Michael Dudok de Wit has finally made a feature film, and it’s everything you’d love. After a few notable short animated movies, most known Father and Daughter back in 2000, he collaborates with Studio Ghibli to make this universal piece of beauty. Even without any dialogue and quite an odd drawing style, it represented life itself.

مخرج الأفلام الرسومية الهولندي مايكل د. دي ويت يقوم للمرة الأولى بعمل فيلم طويل , ولها من تجربة عظيمة. بعد سلسلة من الأفلام القصيرة , ولعل أشهرها “أب وابنة” من العام 2000 , يتعاون مع استوديو قيبلي الياباني الشهير ليصنعوا عملًا يتجاوز كل الثقافات وبدون أي حوارات وأسلوب رسومي خلّاب.

Manchester by the Sea

A thorough examination of those who can’t go on, and how the place of incident is a huge part of it. It’s really been a while since a movie delivered so much impact and feelings, so much it hurts and it exhausts. I really don’t know how to explain the effort done by Lonergan and his magnificent screenplay and Affleck’s absolutely great performance, you’ll have to see it for you to understand.

كن قويًا فالحياة مستمرة وعليك تجاوز مصابك , عبارة يسهُل جدًا قولها. كين لونرقن كتب سيناريو مذهل بحق ليثبت صعوبة وربما استحالة تطبيقها , ثم أخرج العمل مع أداء عظيم قارب الواقع من كايسي افليك , لتكون النتيجة رحلة شاقة ومرهقة في مانشستر. المكان شاهد حيّ يُجبر المُصاب بتكرار عَيشِ مُصابِه.

O.J.: Made in America

I was reluctant about this documentary, but I didn’t want it to finish when I started watching. A near 8-hour piece of professional well-structured work, anyone who have seen it will agree. The build in the first two parts was smart, and the nerve-breaking in part four was severe. I believe this is the best documentary in 2016, and I know that all types of audiences will love it.

أفضل وثائقي في 2016 ومن أفضل أفلام السنة عمومًا. قرابة ثمان ساعات رهيبة جمع فيها بذكاء بين تاريخ أمريكا مع السود وبين قضية او جاي سيمبسون. مهنية عالية في بناء العمل خصوصًا في الجزئين الأوليين , ثم الوصول إلى الذروة في الجزء الرابع تحديدًا.عمل مهول استعرض فترة مهمة من تاريخ أمريكا.

Graduation

This story is so easy to relate to under our regimes. It grabs the perspective of everyone in third world countries about the future: we hope it won’t be so dark, and we sometimes admit that there isn’t one. The loss of one’s self in a world like this one, you either do it fair and right knowing you will fail or you cheat your way out of it and escape to a better place, and both choices seem right and wrong at the same time. ِ A severe Romanian new wave movie by Cristian Mungiu, but necessary.

من السهل جدًا التعلق والارتباط بهذه القصة وهذه الشخصيات تحت أنظمة بلادنا. العمل استطاع إيصال نظرة أي شخص يعيش في دول العالم الثالث حول المستقبل: إمّا التأمل بألا يكون سوداويًا للغاية , وأحيانًا نعترف بعدم وجوده بالأصل. ثم يؤول أمره بين أن يَعدِل وهو على دراية بخسارته , أو يسلك سبلًا ملتوية ليتمكن من الهروب لمكان أفضل. وطوال حياته يَتَسأل أيُّهما الخِيار الصحيح. المخرج كريستيان مونغيو في فيلم لا يتكرر في حقبة الموجة الرومانية الجديدة , رغم كونها تجربة مريرة إلا أنها ضرورية.

Top Movies of |2015| أفضل أفلام

The year of disappointing movies and too many biographies, that was saved by great documentaries. One reason comes to my mind: A lot of movies were pushed back a year to avoid failing in the box office against Star Wars, although it makes 2016 hugely anticipated. What bothered me more about 2015 is the absent of a real masterpiece, not even one.

سنة الأفلام المخيّبة والعدد الزائد من السير الذاتية , والتي نجت من الفشل التام بوثائقيات رائعة جدًا. قد يكون أحد أسباب ذلك هو تأجيل عدد ليس بالقليل من الأفلام تجنبًا للخسارة في شباك التذاكر أمام ستار وورز , رغم أنه جعل من 2016 منتظرًا بحق. الخيبة الأكبر هي غياب التحف الحقيقية , لا يوجد عمل وصل لذلك الوصف.

Steve Jobs

I’ve always thought that Danny Boyle is the British Martin Scorsese, most of their movies are so fast-paced you can’t blink sometimes, no chance to get bored even for a millisecond. Then you’ve got Aaron Sorkin’s great dialogues and great screenplay, the man is a genius writer. The cherry at the top, are the performances by Fassbender, Winslet and Daniels.

برأيي أن داني بويل هو النسخة البريطانية من مارتن سكورسيزي ، معظم أفلامهم ذات رتم سريع يصعب فيها الشعور بالملل ولو لثانية واحدة. والأهم من ذلك قدرة آرون سوركين في الحوارات والسيناريو العظيم، الرجل كاتب عبقري. وأخيرًا ، هي أداءات شبه متكاملة من فاسبندر , ووينسلت , ودانيلز.

Knight of Cups

This magical, beautiful, captivating, mesmerizing visual piece kept me watching non-stop. Nevertheless, it is sad and made me feel lonely most of the time. Imagine Sofia Coppola’s Somewhere, but in a much better universe than ours. For some weird reason, the last Malick’s movie I’ve seen was The New World, which was kinda a disappointment for me. Now it is time to catch up.

لم أستطع التوقف للحظة عن مشاهدة هذا العمل البصري الجميل والفاتن. رغم كونه يثير الحزن وبالؤس بالتحديد. تخيلوا معي فيلم صوفيا كوبولا “مكان آخر” لكن بهيئة وأسلوب عظيم للغاية. تيرانس ماليك صاحب نظرة نادرة الوجود بين صناع الأفلام في الوقت الحالي.

World of Tomorrow

This animated short film is so simple, like one’s of a child drawings, yet so meaningful and captures incredible feelings. It does unleash and empower emotions hidden deep inside. Emotions, I believe, that are being forgotten in our contemporary world. God knows how the world of tomorrow is going to be like. It is really not easy to explain this beauty, this masterful work.

بساطة الرسومات في هذا الفيلم القصير شبيهة برسومات الأطفال , لكن يعبر بمشاعر وأحاسيس جبارة. مشاعر تبدو وكأنها تتجه إلى الإختفاء من عالمنا الحديث. هذا العمل يريد التذكير بها , وكذلك التنبيه على ما قد يحصل في عالم الغد. لا يمكن لكلمات بسيطة وصف هذه التحفة.

Mountains May Depart

It captures age, history, family, social standards.. and life. Jia Zhangke can’t control himself when it comes to modern life and globalization, and their effect on everyone’s life. A drama so beautiful and cleverly written. You can’t go past this movie and not think about your past and your future. A lot of “what-ifs” come to mind, but Go West plays and you kind of accept it all.

المدنية والعولمة تجد طريقها خلال هذه الحكاية الدرامية التي أبدع الصيني زانكي في قَصّها. التاريخ , العائلة , المستوى الاجتماعي… جوانب يعشقها هذا المخرج في أعماله , ودائما يُبدع في ضبطها. تمني تغيير اختياراتك وقراراتك في الماضي , أمر حتمي أثناء مشاهدة هذه الرائعة.

Inside Out

The level of creativity in Pixar is beyond us all. The determination and ability to make these imagined worlds magical, touching and so real. Worlds that all of us can find enjoyable and relatable: kids, adults and not so few cinephiles. This one digs deep inside each and every one of us, exploring out our feelings and emotions in a way that have never been done before.

الإبداعية والإختلاق لدى استوديو بيكسار صنعت لنا عوالم ساحرة ومؤثرة , عوالم نشعر بأنها حقيقية حولنا رغم كونها مجرد خيال محض. الصغار والكبارجميعهم يستمتعون بها ويشعرون بالانتماء إليها. هذا العمل تحديدًا يستكشف ويُظهر مشاعرنا بشكل غير مسبوق على الإطلاق.

45 Years

You’d think that nothing breaks a 45 year bond, or maybe you’d like to think that? After watching this movie, I’m sad and somehow not surprised. C. Rampling’s character, and herself, were the main focus here, so it is safe to say this is a character study from beginning to end. I can’t ignore the silly notion that director A. Haigh wrote this story based on The Platter’s Smoke Gets in Your Eyes.

لا يمكن الحديث عن هذا العمل دون (حرق) أهم الأحداث الرئيسية , لكن تأكد بأنك ستشاهد واحدًا من أروع الأفلام في دراسة الشخصية مؤخرًا. الممثلة شارلوت رامبلينق كأداء وكاريزما وإخراج القادم بقوة اندرو هايق هما أساس هذا العمل الرومنسي الدرامي , وأحيانًا , النفسي.

Human

Joy, sadness, hope, frustration, anger, and awe. All of these together emerged through interviewing people, simple human beings expressing their minds and thoughts. I can’t emphasize enough how essential this documentary is, an experience we need to feel. This is definitely one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in my life, movies or otherwise.

السعادة , الحزن , الأمل , الغضب , الإحباط , الهلع. تلك المشاعر وأكثر نشأت خلال عمل مقابلات لأُناس من كل أطراف العالم , من أبسط البشر يشاركون معنا همومهم وأفكارهم. مشاهدة هذا العمل الانساني البحت , هذا الوثائقي العظيم , أساسية وضرورية. واحد من أهم وأجمل تجاربي , من الأفلام أو غيرها.

Listen to Me Marlon

Before you think this is about the greatest actor ever lived, consider the fact that he is a person, a human, and you’ll get an experience of a lifetime. Voiced-over by Marlon Brando himself, just made it more authentic and alive. I honestly can’t tell if the legend of the big screen or director Stevan Riley that made this documentary unbelievably great.

قبل أن تبدأ بمشاهدة هذا الوثائقي , اجعل تركيزك بأنك تشاهد سيرة ذاتية عن انسان لا عن ممثل وأسطورة , لتكون تجربة حقيقية بالفعل. الاستماع لصوت مارلون براندو طوال الفيلم جعل المتابعة أكثر أصولية وقيمة. التركيز على شخصية براندو ومواقفه وأفكاره , وترك الأحداث والتواريخ كانت مراهنة ناجحة.

The Hateful Eight

There are far too many things to love about this freezing cold, cleverly dialogued, well acted, blood splashing, hysterically laughed-at, intriguingly-and-shockingly awesome, crazed-ride of a movie. Quentin Tarantino’s movies belong to no genre, you simply can’t describe them as such. They have that touch of a trademark you’re not able to find elsewhere. He has established his very own genre.

منظر الثلوج , الحوارات الذكية , الكوميديا الهيستيرية , الإثارة المستمرة , اللحظات المجنونة , الطاقم التمثيلي.. هي بعض ممّا جعل هذا العمل رائعًا وفريدًا. لم يكن فيلم ويسترن صريح , ظهرت فيه العنصرية العرقية وتاريخ النزاعات الأمريكية وقليل من الإثارة الهيتشكوكية. كوينتين تارانتينو هو وحده من يستطيع إخراج وكتابة فيلم كهذا.

Taxi

This was a different experience from anything I’ve ever seen. It captured social and economic problems, struggle for freedom, and love for cinema and film making. All wrapped in a documentary-like shoot. Really smart from Jafar Panahi to do what he did. I just can’t stop admiring his determination with all what’s going on in his country.

بكل تأكيد , لا يمكنك أن تجد شيئًا مشابهًا لهذا العمل. احتوى على المشاكل الاجتماعية والاقتصادية , على المقاتلة من أجل الحرية , على حب السينما وصناعة الأفلام. وفي قالبٍ مُماثل للتصوير الوثائقي. تمكّن جعفر بناهي من فعل كل هذا تحت وطأة منعه من إخراج الأفلام ومن السفر خارج البلاد. يجب أن تُدرّس هذه الإبداعية والإصرار.

Eagerness and anticipation for new movies at the beginning of each year are equal to the ravishment and satisfaction on December, mostly. Perhaps that didn’t apply much on 2014, disappointments were not few. Starting with usually-creative Darren Aronofsky’s “Noah“, which was a real mess. The mainstream “Sin City 2” was not as awesome as the original, but wasn’t so horrible. Great excitement for “Gone Girl” by David Fincher was really destroyed. Jason Reitman was just loss in “Men, Women and Children“. Bennett Miller’s “Foxcatcher” seemed promising but he really got away with it by amazing performances. “Selma” and “The Imitation Game” had enough propaganda to be great, but they were just poorly made movies for social backup purposes.

Understandably, some would have a different saying. It is very common among movie buffs, but opinions and reactions of some movies have been almost divided into two halves. For example, “Boyhood” the movie that took 12 years to make, capturing the life of its lead actor from the age of 6 till 18. Beautiful coming-of-age story that some thought its content can be found in a typical TV drama series. Another example was “Under the Skin“, a Sci-Fi drama that was visually superb with captivating music composing. However, a flaw in the story line can be the turn-off for some.

I believe 2014 was, with its disappointments, a very good year. Had some beautiful movies, and nice surprises here and there. Standing the test of time is of a great importance to me, few movies can make that. I bet some of 2014’s movies have the ability to do that even after a decade or two.

Before the top 10, I will share with you some of the Memorable Quotes and my Favorite Scenes of this year. Also the Documentary Films I have watched, then movies of a less importance or class, and I will divide them to 3 parts: Pure Entertainment & Guilty Pleasures, Definitely Worth Watching and Highly Recommended. Every movie is linked to its page on IMDb.

اللهف والحماس لأفلام عام جديد مساوٍ للفرح والنشوة بعد مشاهدتها عند نهايته , غالباً. ربما لم ينطبق ذلك كثيراً على عام 2014 , فخيبات الأمل لم تكن قليلة. بداية بـ أرنوفيسكي الذي طالما ما كان خلّاقاً لكن”نوح“ كان إختلاقاً انفار منه الأغلب. ثم الجماهيري”مدينة الخطيئة 2“ الذي تمنيته بروعة الجزء الأول , رغم أنه لم يكن سيئاً جداً. الحماس الهائل لـ “فتاة مختفية” لـ فينشر انتهى بصدمة حقيقية. وجايسون ريتمان كان في عدمية “رجال , نساء وأطفال“. بينيت ميلر الذي بدى فيلمه “فوكسكاتشر” واعداً لكنه في النهاية احتمى بأداءات ممثليه. “سيلما” و “لعبة المحاكاة” حصلا على بروباقاندا كافية ليكونا عظيمين , دون إيضاح أنهما نُصرة لفئات اجتماعية مع ضعف في التنفيذ.

بطبيعة الحال , بعض من قرأ الجزء السابق له رأيٌ آخر. واختلاف الأذواق والآراء طاغٍ بين محبيّ الأفلام , لكنها تقريباً تساوت في فيلمين بين مُحب وكارهْ , للمثال لا الحصر. الأول فيلم “صِبا” الذي قضى مخرجه لينكليتر 12 عاماً لتصويره , لم يسبقه أحد في ذلك , وأظهر بطله من عمر 6 سنوات إلى أن بلغ الـ 18. قصة نضج جميلة رغم أن البعض يجد محتواه متكرراً في أي مسلسل درامي معتاد. الثاني فيلم “تحت الجلد” دراما وخيال علمي بحُلّة بصرية عظيمة وموسيقى تصويرية حابسة , لكن قد يكون مسار القصة هو خلل العمل.

اعتقد أن سنة 2014 كانت , رغم خيبات الأمل , جيدة جداً. حملت عدداً ليس بالقليل من الأعمال الجميلة , وبعض المفاجآت هنا وهناك. أجد أهمية في كون الفيلم ثابت المستوى بعد مُضيّ أعوام , قليل من الأفلام من يستطيع على ذلك. وأراهن تمكن بعض أفلام 2014 على الصمود حتى لو بعد عقد أو عقدين.

قبل التوب تن , سأتكلم عن بعض أبرز الاقتباسات ومما اذكر من المشاهد المفضلة لهذا العام. كذلك عن الأعمال الوثائقية ثم عن أفلام أقل أهمية أو مستوى , وسأقسمها إلى 3 أقسام: أفلام ترفيهية , أفلام تستحق المشاهدة , وأفلام رائعة. مع رابط كل فيلم على موقع الأفلام أي أم دي بي.

Documentary films alone needs a list. You can’t talk about 2014’s movies without mentioning these wonderful documentaries. Here some of what I have watched and all were good if not great. Still waiting on other ones like Red Army and The Look of Silence.

الأفلام الوثائقية لوحدها فقط تحتاج لقائمة. من الصعب أن أتحدث عن الأفلام في 2014 دون ذكر الوثائقيات الرائعة التي شاهدتها. هنا بعض مما شاهدت وجميعها تستحق المشاهدة على الأقل إن لم تكن روائع حقيقية. وبانتظار أفلام آخرى مثل Red Army و The Look of Silence.

عامٌ آخر يمر , وأفلام أخرى تُشاهد. بعضها يُمجّد ويُدنّس , وبعضها الآخر كذلك. المُمَجدون والمُدَنسون في قتال. نسوا جهلهم باختلاف الأذواق , أو أنهم جهلوا نسيانهم. على أيةِ حال , عام آخر يمر بمشاهدات ممتعة , راقية , مخيّبة , مُدهشة , مُملة…وفي كل أحوالها فهي غالباً تبقى في الذاكرة , لأن السينما حياةٌ أخرى لم نعشها. عام 2013 لم يكن عظيماً بالنسبة لي , وأعيد , بالنسبة لي. العام السابق له 2012 يستحق فعلاً أن يُدعى عظيماً. ربما السبب الرئيسي كان ضعف الأفلام الأوروبية على غير العادة , لكونها فنيّة بحتة وهو ما يُذيق العقل والأحاسيس الكثير. لكن هذا ما رأيت -للمرة الثالثة- بالنسبة لي.

Top 10 Movies of ~2012~ أفضل 10 أفلام في

بالكاد انتهيت من جميع ما خططت لمشاهدته للعام الفائت , 2012. أحيانا أتعرض لضغط الوقت وقلة الحماس لبعض الأفلام , لكن النتيجة تكون جميلة في حالات ليست قليلة :). كانت أفلام قوية بالفعل , احترت كثيرا قبل أكتب قائمتي النهائية. للأسف لازلت أشعر بأني ظلمت بعض الأفلام لطردي لها خارج التوب تن. ما يعيب هذه السنة العظيمة بالنسبة لي , هو تمجيد أفلام لم تستحق , وأيضا خيبتي لأفلام توقعتها أفضل. لهذه اللحظة , لم أستوعب التطبيل للفلميين (زيرو دارك ثيرتي) و (أرقو) إلا أنه تبجيل من النقاد الأمريكيين دون غيرهم. وأحد الأفلام التي خيبت ظني هو (آمور) , سأبقى أوصي به لمن لم يشاهده , لكن لا أعرف أين العظمة التي رأها غيري. ربما لأنه أول فيلم أشاهده من إخراج هينكيه , أو ربما أني أرى الحب شيئا آخر .. لا أعلم. عموما هي عِله تحدث للمتابع في كل عام , وليس في العام الفائت وحده. في نهاية مقدمتي هذه أقول , عام 2012 سيُذكر كثيرا وسيبكي على أطلاله السينمائيون ,,,

I barely finished watching what I planned to see from last year, 2012. I was under a lot of pressure, time and lack-of excitement toward some movies, even though it resulted beautifully in some cases :). They were powerful work of art, I was so not sure how to order and finalize my list. Unfortunately, I kicked some great movies out of the top 10, and I still feel guilty about it. What I didn’t like about this great year were two things: Glorifying not-so-glorious movies, like Argo and Zero Dark Thirty, and the disappointment I felt by movies which I imagined would be really amazing, like Amour. But I guess it’s a problem a viewer faces every year. In the end of this introduction, the year 2012 will be remembered a lot and we will wish for one as great and magical as it was.
